Jordi Masip i Masip. Trombon

He was born in 1977 in Tarragona. He began his studies in the Unió Musical of Tarragona wind band with the professor Paco Cano and he continued in the Conservatory of Tarragona and also in the CSMM from Barcelona with Miquel Badia as a teacher, he has obtained a "cum laude" in the superior degree.He amplied his studies in the ESMUC and the Liceu Conservatory.

He has worked with the following teachers, Ricardo Casero, Raül García, Francesc Sánchez Orteu, Gaspar Montesinos, Peter Gallaun, Indalecio Bonet, Daniel Lasalle...

He has members of the JONC ( Young Symphony Orchestra of Catalunya) during 5 years and nowadays he plays in the Julia Carbonell Symphony Orchestra (Lleida). He has collaborated with OBC, Orquestra Simfònica del Gran Teatre del Liceu, Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, Camerata XXI, Orquestra de Vilaseca..

Nowadays he is the conductor of the young wind band Unió Musical de Tarragona and he is member of the forVmbrass quintet and he is a teacher in Tarragona Conservatory.
